Every shipment in Zippendo has a status that shows where it is in the process. You’ll see the status in the shipments list and on the shipment detail page.

Status overview

StatusWhat it means
PendingThe shipment is created but not yet sent to the carrier (e.g. waiting for label or handover).
ProcessingThe shipment is being processed (e.g. label created or order sent to the carrier).
DispatchedThe shipment has been handed over to the carrier and is in transit (or delivered).
Partly dispatchedSome parcels in the shipment are dispatched; others are still pending or processing.
On holdThe shipment is paused (e.g. waiting for payment, address check, or manual action).
ErrorSomething went wrong (e.g. carrier error, invalid address, or missing data). Check the shipment details or messages for more info.
CancelledThe shipment was cancelled. It no longer goes to the carrier.

What to do when you see a status

1

Pending or Processing

You can still edit or cancel the shipment in many cases. Create or download the label, then hand the parcel to the carrier (or use pickup if configured). Once the carrier has it, the status will usually move to Dispatched.
2

Dispatched or Partly dispatched

The shipment is with the carrier. Use tracking (if shown) to follow it. No further action needed unless you need to change delivery or contact the carrier.
3

On hold

Check the shipment detail or any notifications to see why it’s on hold. Resolve the cause (e.g. update address, confirm payment), then the shipment can continue.
4

Error

Open the shipment and look for an error message or failed step. Fix the issue (e.g. correct address, weight, or carrier settings) and retry if the app allows it. If not, create a new shipment or contact support with the shipment ID and error text.
5

Cancelled

The shipment is no longer active. To send the same contents, create a new shipment.
If a shipment stays in Error or On hold and you’re not sure why, note the shipment ID and any error text and contact support. They can help you resolve carrier or data issues.

Where status is shown

  • Shipments list – Each row shows the status (often as a coloured badge).
  • Shipment detail page – The current status is shown at the top or in a summary section.
Status is updated when you or the system perform actions (e.g. create label, send to carrier, cancel) or when the carrier sends updates (e.g. dispatched, delivered).
