Carriers are the shipping companies you use to send parcels (e.g. Postnord, Bring, DHL). In Zippendo, you connect each carrier you work with so that:
  • Pricing is correct when you create shipments or when customers choose shipping at checkout.
  • Labels can be created and (if you use a printer) printed automatically.
  • Tracking and shipment status stay in sync.
You can connect multiple carriers and give each one a name that makes sense for your team (e.g. “Postnord – Oslo” or “DHL Express”).

Where to find Carriers

Open Carriers from the main menu. You’ll see two tabs:
The carriers you’ve already connected. This is where you manage and edit them. Click a carrier to open its settings.

What you need before connecting a carrier

1

Add a sender address

The “from” address that appears on labels. Set this up under Settings → Sender (sender addresses). If you haven’t added one yet, do that first.
2

Have your carrier account details ready

For example customer number, API keys, or other credentials. The connection form will show exactly what’s required for each carrier.
Once a carrier is connected, you can fine-tune behaviour (e.g. test mode, label format, what happens when you cancel a shipment) in Carrier settings.
