Labels in Zippendo are the shipping labels you print and put on parcels. They’re generated when you create a shipment (or when a shipment is sent, depending on carrier and flow). You can view and print them from the shipment or from a dedicated Labels area if your app has one.

Where labels come from

  • From a shipment – Each shipment can have one or more labels (e.g. one per parcel). Open the shipment and go to the Documents or Labels section to view, download, or print them. See Shipments – Documents and labels.
  • Labels page – If your app has a Labels menu item, it may list recent or all labels in one place for quick access and bulk printing. The exact behaviour depends on your plan and app version.

Printing labels

  • Manual – Open the shipment (or the label in the Labels list), then use Print or Download and print the file on your label printer.
  • Auto-print – In Shipping rules you can turn on Auto-Print Labels and choose a printer. When a matching shipment is sent, the label is sent to that printer automatically. See Auto-print labels.

Label format (ZPL vs default)

If you use a Zebra or ZPL-compatible printer, turn on Use ZPL labels in Carrier settings for that carrier. Otherwise use the default format (e.g. PDF) that works with most label printers. For more on creating shipments and getting labels, see Creating a shipment and Documents and labels.
