Your profile is where you view and edit your own account details (e.g. name, email, password). It’s separate from Organization or Team settings, which control the org and who’s in it.

Where to find it

Open your profile from the user menu—usually by clicking your name or avatar in the top-right or sidebar. You may see Profile or Account in the menu. On some setups it’s under Dashboard → Profile or a dedicated account area.

What you can change

  • Name – Your display name in the app. Change it so your team sees the right name.
  • Email – Your login email. Changing it may require verification; follow the in-app steps.
  • Password – Use Change password to set a new password. You’ll usually need your current password. See Forgot password and reset if you don’t know it.

Profile changes apply to your user account across all organizations you belong to. They don’t change organization name, team, or billing—those are under Settings.

Notifications and preferences

If the app has notification or preference settings (e.g. email frequency, language), they may appear on the profile or in a separate Preferences section. Adjust them as you like.
