Opening an order shows you everything you need to fulfill it: items, shipping address, and any existing shipments. From there you can Create Shipment to create a new shipment linked to that order.

Opening an order

  1. Go to Orders.
  2. Click the order you want (e.g. by order number or row).
  3. The order detail page opens, usually with Overview and Shipments tabs.

What you see on the order

Overview

Order number, date, status, customer and shipping address, and order lines (items). You can use this to pack the right products and ship to the correct address.

Shipments

Any shipments already created for this order. You can see their status, open them to get labels, or (if the app allows) mark them as sent. If there are no shipments yet, you’ll see an option to create one.

Creating a shipment from an order

When the order is not yet fully fulfilled (status is not Fulfilled or Cancelled), you’ll see a Create Shipment button (on the order header or in the Shipments tab).

Click Create Shipment

A modal or flow opens where you choose how to ship this order.

Choose carrier, product, and sender address

Select the carrier (e.g. Postnord, DHL), the shipping product (e.g. standard, express), and the sender address. The recipient is usually pre-filled from the order’s shipping address.

Confirm

Click Create Shipment. A new shipment is created and linked to the order. You can then open the shipment to view or print the label.

You need at least one connected carrier and one sender address before you can create a shipment. See Carriers and Settings → Sender.
After creating the shipment, it appears under the order’s Shipments tab. From the shipment you can download the label, and when the parcel is handed to the carrier you can mark it as sent (if the app supports it). When all items are shipped, the order status may update to Fulfilled.

Order status and Create Shipment

You can only create a shipment when the order is not Fulfilled or Cancelled. If the button is missing or disabled, check the order status. For status meanings see Order statuses.
